The reason we started demonizing drugs in the first place wasn't because pot was getting out of hand or anything like that. Cannabis made mexicans and blacks go crazy, rape our daughters, eat our children, run a muck in society. Sure the reasons for prohibition have changed since then, but how much? It's still all just crap, lies. It is still very much built on racism too, just look at who gets busted for drugs and the statistics for who does drugs. It's so ridiculous. I don't believe for a second that taxing is the main reason we won't see legal cannabis. Isn't the main reason control?
