No way is Salvia the new mj...I haven't tried it and don't plan on doing so, based upon the trip reports I read at erowid. I like fun feel-good drugs, not something that will take me on a scary roller coaster ride. I think the stronger hallucinogens appeal to the masochist inside us. Salvia will never be as popular as mj, period. The main reason people are doing it, in my opinion, is that the DEA has made alternative substances like LSD or mescaline harder to obtain. So the DEA has nobody but itself to blame for a new LEGAL drug entering the public awareness.
