Getting started, maybe

Hidden from everyone in a remote location. Thing is I've never grown before. Now don't take this as a request for a seed source but I have been wondering where to get seeds. Back in the day it wasn't a problem for me, they came with the product. But now I haven't had much product. So I was wondering if seeds even come with product these days. If they do are they good? Are plants completely male or female? I'm guessing the nice female plants I see in pictures don't have seeds. But then again back in the day the product had seeds and still would perform nicely. Any help would be appreciated.
