it should be flowering now for you or near enough ... whats the weather been like atm for you?

because this is your first outdoor grow im guessing you just put the seeds outside /babies plant to see what happend?

you have to do a few things to get a good plant .

1) buy a massive pot like 10gallons
2) buy some expensive multipurpose compost
3) buy some perlite
4) buy some good ferts
5) buy a small ammount of gravel
6) buy a few jiffy plugs (peat pellets looks like a small hockey puck)
7)THE MOST IMPORTANT get the seeds !
8) get a cheap propagator/ humidity dome

this spot has to have at least 5 hours of direct sun a day !
if theres a problem of pests ie rabbits you got to put a fence up ... as i see you havent got the issue as the plant is still there no worries ...

step 1 )
THE POT
put the gravel in the pot at the bottom so at least there is 2 inches of depth (drainage).
open the bag/sack of soil and pour in ther perlite (perlite looks like broken polystirene)
with the part ratio of about 20%perlite to 80% soil/compost
fill the pot all the way to the 2inches below the top.

step 2 )
THE SEEDS AND GERMINATION
now the seeds are up to you as you live in the states where seeds are hard to come by its up to you if you get bagseeds or the proper ones ...if you want the proper ones go to

https://www.seedboutique.com
and get feminized seeds ... ther a little more expensive but then you dont have the worrie about males
its a safe website to order the the states from : )
......................
germinate as many seeds as you need ... if you got feminized they will all be female .
wet a paper towel in a dish and put the seeds on the paper the cover with a nother piece of paper then push down so their all wet.(like a sandwhich) put kitchen film/sandwhich wrap over the top and place in the airing cupboard or a warm dark place .
in 3/7 days the seeds will crack.

soak a jiffy plug/pellet in water for 4.5 minutes then place the seed inside then place in the propagator then put back into the airing cupboard with the air holes closed .

when the plant breaks the surface it needs light put on the window sill in a bright place (but not direct sun light!) and open the air holes half way .

it will soon start growing when it has the first true set of leaves (jaggered ones) open the airholes fully for 1 week
then remove the lid... water only with water at this stage .

grow it on the widow sill until the roots are poking out the side .. then transplant it outside into the big pot ... it will lok stupid for a while but the key to a nice plant is to pot being too big at the start : )

bring the plant in at night for the first 2 weeks so it can adjust to the temperatures .

step 3
FERTALIZERS (also known as ferts and nutes )

the best for outdoor that i know is "canna products"
for out door you will need

"canna tera vega"(tera means soil and vega mean veg growth)
"canna tera flores (flowering)
"canna PK 13/14" (used in 5th week of flowering ..superbloom :)

see link:
http://www.discount-hydro.com/productdisp.php?pid=56&navid=12

when the plant has got leaves which are sets on 3 fingers start with vega at quarter strength then after 1 week move to half strength keep it at half strength untill it is a bush and 15" tall then go full strength ... it will grow fast !!!!!

when the time comes later in the year when it flowers move to flores at full strenght and continue as normal
in the 5th week add 20ml of pk 13/14 to every 10 Ltrs of water until the flushing time(the superbloom will make the buds very big and dense )

the flushing time is a time at the end of the flowering cycle that you flush the plant of all ferta with just water for 1-2 weeks ... i prefer flushing for 1 week

if the strain is a 8 week flowering strain (probally indica) flush at week 7
if its a 10 week stain (high in the sativa)flush between week 8 and 9

if its a true sativa then it may go to 16 weeks .... up to you ,,i prefer a indica's with a hint of sativa.

...............

and im sorry to write so much but the key to a good plant is the prep .. trust me you'll get it back
you'll have to ask some other yanks and find out the sowing times (starting times for seeds outdoors) like for her in the uk its may/june time harvest sept/oct it a little different for you should be april to august ?

hope this helps for next time
laterz
