If you use 99% Rubbing alcohol and soak your product for a day or so, then run it through a couple of metal coffee filters a few times and dry it on a glass plate you just may get some smokable product but in my years of smoking and joking and trying just about every way possible to make better product, I have found that usually if the weed is not potent it is not worth the time it takes to make oil or hash, unless you use chemical extraction and i am not a chemist so i have only heard about making bad weed better and even good sometimes!
I take leaf from my plants and if i smoke it it is no good, does not get me high. If i take those same leafs and use them to make hash or better yet hash oil, then it is screaming good, but the weed from the buds are also screaming good so i think its a waste of time unless the weed is good to begin with!
