alternative method for co2?

4twinkie Registered on Feb-13-2008 More User Info Message #41236 posted by 4twinkie (Info) February 13, 2008 06:58:58 ET may not be very effective, but ingredients come from the corner store... everyone has heard of the mentos+diet coke phenomenom, well what if you were to take a 2 liter bottle of diet coke(maybe just half?) and mix mentos in while the bottle is sealed(with a valve attached), wait while it does its thing and let it settle for a bit, then, could that pressurized co2 be used for a small growroom? this isnt something i plan on setting up, just wondering what everyone else thinks. ~4
