We used to have some box elder trees in the backyard, and in the spring those trees would be swarming with thousands of these. They dont bite, and i dont remember them doing any harm to the trees, like eating leaves. It was a long time ago, my memory isnt clear, and i'm curious if youre seeing any damage to the plants from these bugs.
