Light Therapy

The ads say they are full spectrum and 10,000 lux. I've been looking at HD lights but so far they seem to get too hot and are supposed to be used outside like in parking lots. A co-worker has a light therapy box on her desk and the light is like being outdoors on a sunny day. Anyone have any experience using one of these lights?
