In effect, detox drinks are nothing more than an overpriced "dilution method-in-a-bottle", because of the water thats being consumed with it. Detox drinks do nothing to strip, cleanse, or otherwise remove THC metabolites from the fat cells, as the marketers would try to make you believe. When you consume the drinks, all you are doing is diluting the urine/THC content thats present in the bladder - not much but just enough to test below the screens cutoff limit (hopefully). The exact same actions can be duplicated by following the Dilution method, which can be found here:

Drinking water days and weeks before your test is a waste because it has no effect, considering that THC is not water-soluable and therefore cannot be clensed from the fat cells (only time and exercise can do that). Because the water only dilutes whats present in the bladder, water consumption is only good on the day of test.
