- walking across a 100 foot high single track train bridge at night, smoking a joint at the halfway point, and seeing a train barrelling towards you at high speed (we had to hang off the side of the bridge until the train passed)
- seeing the only bank in town explode in a 50 foot fireball a few hours after you put all your money in it
- smoking a joint and breaking out a couple of beers next to your car and having two cops jump out of the bushes with rifles pointed at your chest (they thought we were poachers)
- having two vice cops search your apartment shortly after a coke dealer hid $50,000 *somewhere* in it while you were out
- having the cops grab you out of your bed and take you out to the garbage dump to interrogate you
- getting strip searched at the border when your friend has a few grams tucked in his shorts
- having a cop tell you to get in his car and call for backup during a barfight and then having to explain to six angry cops why you are in a cop car yelling "officer in distress" into a cop radio
cops are the worst buzz killers but those memories are funny now
