my family doesn't have a DD214 because my government didn't fall for your government's lies about vietnam...my family fought in REAL wars: WWI and WWII
america never lost a single battle in vietnam, and maintained a 20-1 kill ratio on the battlefield throughout the whole war...america lost 58,000 of its citizens in vietnam...vietnam lost about 4 million of their citizens...you won the battles but lost the war because the premise for war was FULL OF SHIT
vietnam was lost because, like iraq, the reasons for going into vietnam were paranoid lies...there was no tonkin gulf incident as cited for the reason for the tonkin gulf resolution...commie vietnamese were no threat to the united states, as proved by george bush's recent visit to vietnam...it was a foreign policy hoax on the american people
your suggestion of executing the press would have ended the war sooner because the american public are not that stupid...they saw the coffins...they saw the shell shocked vets in wheelchairs...they saw the terrible price to pay for a fake war in a faraway land to protect americans from ???
