I"m with you and DAMN PROUD of it. I understand where you are coming from and maybe when the terrorists are in the DEFEATISTS backyard planting bombs and sending out suicide killers with vests to kill innocent women and children they know and love they may understand where your coming from too. I wanted to come to this discussion with guns a blazen but I was reading along when I realized that NOTHING I or you(TOROG) say is gonna change certain peoples minds on this .
Don't you realize (David) that there are people out there that believe in the ways of Communist,Leftist, Marcsist,and YES even ISLAMIC EXTREMISTS. There are just too many people out there that don't believe in spreading freedom and trying to bring freedom to oppressed people all over the world.
Anyone can respond to this if you want but as much as I would like EVERYONE in the WORLD to think like I do ( as scary as that sounds) I know that ain't gonna happen EVER. I just wanted to add my 2 cents even though YOU won't see things my way and I won't see things your way.
I realize G.W. Bush isn't a saint and has most likely done some SHADY and UNDERHANDED things(ie; Iran/Contra dealings) but WE haven't been attacked on OUR turf since the towers fell. I'm not Bush's biggest fan but he is NOT El Diablo and has kept Al Quada on the run.
I have given up on alot of my personal freedoms and liberties in order to feel safe at night, and if I have my choice I'll chose to smoke cannabis the way I have for 30 years (under the radar) just keep Al Queda out of my backyard.
I'm just waiting for that electable Presidential candidate that will FIGHT the terrorists and keep them running( better yet DEAD)and let people decide what they put in THIER bodies ie; medical cannabis.
I'll be the first to tell ya I'M DAMN SICK OF ALL POLITICIANS but I AM and WILL ALWAYS BE PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN. I'll get back to the subject at hand .
A Marine Commander had a Town Meeting of sorts for thousands of his troops in IRAQ . In 4 hours of Q and A NOT A SINGLE SOLDIER complained about the fight they were engaged in . Most of the soldiers were concerned with a myriad of other issues ie; HOW TO RE-ENLISTS and EXTEND thier tours to FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT with thier BROTHER and SISTER WARRIORS.I personally served 5 years in the U.S. Army and tried to get back in the service a year after the war started but I was at the time and obviously still am too old. TOO BAD
