Howdy Elijah,
Thanx for yer calm and reasoned response,yer earlier post to me and the others,came off as being somewhat hysterical.
I'm just a simple country bumpkin,raised up in the conservative Church of Christ,not the liberal one and I like my simple approach..that being that Jesus Christ is God's Son,sent to us here on earth,for our salvation and to deliver the Gospel.
For me,there is and always will be,only one Christ,Jesus Christ. I am also aware that the Catholic church has messed with the Bible and is hiding much in it's vaults in Vatican City,protected by a swedish defense force.
In regards to the Quran,I see that as a mostly contrived work,by an arab general,who plagarized parts of the Bible to create a tool of unification for arabs and persians to unite against Jews and Christians..I do not mean to offend you,but that's the way I see it.
Okay,I understand yer point about praying to Mecca and about other congregations,as well as yer aversion to being described as 'western'.
I agree with yer rape analogy too..if the rapists weren't slain,our liberal courts would wind up accusing the woman of provoking the rape and she would be the one on trial,not her attackers,per se.
If you don't have an Imam,are you guided by a cleric ? Are you currently attending a mosque ?
Also,what of the hoped for-12th imam,have you heard tell of that ? There's a book out by a former muslim,that details such and is a warning to democratic goverments that there's a muslim equivalent of the return of a 'saviour',I'm attaching the pic of it,to show you what I mean,not to offend you.
