Well..it seems that I touched a nerve..I apologize for momentarily lumping you in with those who desire that there be a United Socialist States of America-clearly..yer a unique case.
What if we weren't "killing for fear and greed",but rather out of common sense and self-defense ?
I agree with ya that many of our freedom's have been encroached upon,however-we do have a serious external threat to deal with and it behooves us to confront it and deal with it now-rather than later..are you suggesting that we ignore our national security needs until all internal problems have been solved first and we have a perfectly free society ? That would be an amazing feat-that has yet to be accomplished in the history of Man..aren't you being somewhat impractical ?
Maybe yer suggesting,that we bring all our troops home and focus on becoming 100% energy-independent and cut all treaties with our allies and tell them that they are on their own now and that we're no longer gonna kill any more babies ? Does this mean that yer anti-abortion as well ? Or do women git to keep their exclusive 'right' to kill their own children ?
Will you ever acknowledge,that Islam is the only religion that still acts on it's violent directives against non-muslims ?
There's a Dutch Deputy,that's about to release a film documentary called "Fitna",which exposes the violent truth about Islam,there have been massive protests against such already and it hasn't even been released..sadly,the muslim reaction will most likely be very violent. The feller making the film,says that he wants to expose the ugly trith about Islam,in order to make moderate muslims understand that it is time for Islam to undergo a Reformation like Christianity and Judaism did-and learn how to truly co-exist with non-muslims.
