- that is not true...muslims make up less than 3% of the UK's population...the *roman* catholic church has been in decline but there are still more than 5 million members (about 10% of the population)...besides, that totally ignores the fact that over 70% of the UK is christian and mostly catholic...those christians are hiding in the church of england, headed up by the queen, the mother church of the worldwide anglican communion, which is considered catholic, and among whose ranks christian fundamentalism is growing rapidly

- that is not true (and it doesn't make sense either)...europe's history/culture is several thousand years older than the usa's branded civilization(tm)...the population of the european union is 50% larger than the usa, countries are lining up to join, the EU GDP is equal to the USA, and their currency is soaring...the american empire was diagnosed with a fatal disease when the US commerce department announced in sept/85 that the united states had become a debtor nation (and that was back in the good old days of ron reagan and apple pie - uncle sam's vital signs have deteriorated significantly since then)
don't christians have a fatwa against bearing false witness? i read it in the bible, but i don't see it in practice on this thread
