how long was that mormon cult operating in texas? too long to claim moral bragging rights, i think
i don't know if i'd be the same person if i was raised and lived in texas by fundamentalist christian parents in a conservative neighbourhood...i went to church every week until i moved out of my conservative christian town when i was 18...i didn't even consider the possibility that god might not exist until i was 22, and it took me another 8 years to go from conservative to liberal
i've been thinking about switching back lately...judging by the fox news channel, conservatives can say anything they want without being restricted by facts or guilt...that seems like way more fun than boring old PBS wringing it's hands and moaning about global warming and poverty
