Ok It is ironic that you was wanting more about the Mary Milk..
Last Evening and the better part of this morning has been spent experimenting for myself, because there is for some reason a very large gap of information on the subject of milks ability to hold any outside type of isomer other than what it contains LOL
Strange as it may be, there are no write ups on Milk as a nonpolar hehe imagine that ..So..boredom and absolute curiousity motivated me to:
Finely Grind 6 grams of the Stuff, weighed out 3 equal portions (2 gr.)
Measured:
1/2 Homo-Milk
1/4 cup Butter
Appromimately- 1/2 cup Methanol
1. 2gr. was put in flask with Methanol and if i remember correctly 3 drops of sulfuric acid may have some home got in there ;) and began reflux
2. 2gr. was Steeped 2 grams in Milk for 1 hour
3. 2gr. was Boiled in Distilled Water and butter for 30 minutes
Strained and cold water rinsed solids from the milk
same with butter and water put the milk in fridge with the butter water .. now i have a nice snack for later LOL
Now the purpose for my madness
First i only have 2 Condensers so by the time i was done with the butter and milk, the methanol mix had refluxed for approximently a little over 3 hours
After Drying completely in microwave i put the post extracted Pot hehe i love that word ..Pot.. any way
in 2 seperate flasks .. then spent 30 minutes rigging my water hoses to run 2 condensers...
any way then put each dry powdered remains into the flasks
(knowing of course the round bottom flask was the milk ..weed LOL)
1/2 cup methanol/spiked w/sulfuric acid ..hehe into each
let them run for about 3 1/2 hours..
it is now about 3am my kid has a cold so i better try to sleep a couple hours before, he gets up for his day...
any way at this point this morning 3 seperate jars with my spiked methanol, remained strained and since i am sure the milk and butter remains and fairly used up i chunk them and save the single used methanol.. any way
put equal portion of naptha as methanol
add sodium bicarbonate to each stiring let stand .. stir more.. LOL ok ok based the alcohol(THC contaning methanol, well to be more specific the THC after having the sulfuric acid working on it is now Delta 9, and any cannabidol should be fully converted to THC, cannabidol is what the Hemp plant naturally converts to THC(the C, in THC) so adding sulfuric acid finishes any work the plant had left to do .. so to speak.. not really nessesary when working with flowers, more so used when "Shake" leaves and so on are extracted for Hash Oil, the reason for my madness is the THC already in the plant will also further convert to some thing Called Delta 9 THC, not real familliar with this other than a big hit of it will head rush you good!
)and do not smoke or consume to much .. whew happy bag of concrete is about what will happen LOL..ok back to the point:
applied lid and shook the poop out of each .. let serperate.. ect did 2 equal naptha pulls ea.
my findings..
The point of this is the amount of Oil i am able to still extract from the remains will give some idea of how well each thing took on the THC, you can never get an extraction to be 100% so here is what i got
the straight methanol..extract from fresh reagent was
easily 3 times more than the milk remains and the milk remains were close half that of the butter
so now i know 1/2 cup milk will hold twice the THC of 1/4 cup butter LOL
but this does not mean this is all each quantity is usefull for my bet is butter is just less soluable than milk
and what good is all this.. well which is easier to consume.. 1/2c milk.. or 1/4c butter.. LOL take a few muffins or Pieces of toast to get down 1/4c butter LOL
unless you really like butter..

i got to torch me a tooter for my ...
i will after long and carefull study, report the potentcy of each extracted oil ;)
