Ok...
So I finally did it...last evening and took it out of the fridge when I came home from work today.
I used fresh shake from my girls... 3/4 pounds of shake for 1 pound of unsalted butter and half a pot of water. Simmered 4 hours.
I enjoyed watching the breakdown process...especially the green froth floating on top. After reading just about every post on this board regarding the subject, I must say I am proud of my first achievement.
The color looks almost pea green and I'm wondering if the fact that I cooked it in an aluminium pot had anything to do with it ( only thought of that today ).
So tonight I tested it by doing what I read in one of these posts... I melted a couple of tablespoons and drizzled it on my plate of spaghetti on top of the sauce.
The taste wasn't as bad as I had read it was...although I guess you have to aquire the taste of cooked canabis ( mind you...I love the taste of pot cookies and tea ).
I was suprised to feel a buzz after 30 minutes ( usually with a pot cookie it takes well over an hour ). Now at this moment... I have this constant mellow buzz while still being able to function ...it's been 3 1/2 hours since I ate the spaghetti.... not bad at all.
Tomorrow, after work.... my next experiment will be brownies ! :)
I'll let you guys know how they turn out.
