much the same position as Bill Clinton did during his first term.  Slick
inherited such a budget deficit from Reagan and the Tip O'Neill Congress
that he enacted exactly 0 bills from his campaign platform, including
Mrs. Clinton's failed attempt at socialize healthcare.  Currently, the
US is printing money to stem the hemorrhaging in the FIRE (finance,
insurance, real estate) industry. I would think that the next president
is going to be restricted in their ability to enact expensive social
(engineering) programs (hint:  This is a Good Thing).  And we still have
to *fix* Medicare and Social Security.
