Privatize SS - increasing the percentage and cap and let the gubbyment
manage it? It is simply setting the money on fire. If I am "forced" to
contribute, fine, just let me manage it.
Insofar as "going after the rich" to increase gubbyment revenue - hasn't this
been tried before? How about expanding the economy? More consumption,
more sales, more income, more tax revenue.
Remember Slick Willy? Its the economy, stupid! The economy expanded and
the budget was balanced with nary, as far as I can remember, an increase in
income tax.
