McCain?! I suspect that Mamet didn't leave behind all his liberal sensitivities in his shift to a more conservative mindset, and he undoubtedly embraces a more moderate flavor compared to the stereotypical conservative. Neither end of the political spectrum will achieve their respective goals unless they find common ground. People with a broad, integrated perspective like Mamet have the capacity to lead the way. Extreme conservatives and unyielding liberals are part of the problem, not the solution, and IMO will be left by the wayside grumbling into their beers and cocktails. Puff
