More good news for Obama - the incendiary Reverend Jeremiah A. Wright Jr,
the same man who said of Louis Farrakhan that he "truly epitomized
greatness" while giving Louis, you guessed it, the Reverend Jeremiah A.
Wright Jr Trumpeter Award.
Thinks this guy is a megalomaniac? Just a bit? It gets better..
The Trinity United Church of Christ's retirement gift to the Reverend is multi-
million dollar home in suburban Tinley Park that is currently under
construction.
This is going to get way worse before it gets better - this is the guy that
Obama called his spiritual mentor? Someone tell me again why this is
someone to trust?
A quintessential Chicago politician who greased his first election, played the
"game" with dirt like Rezko, had the, um, "luck" to have his toughest
challengers in both the primary and general Senate election drop out due to
extremely well-timed disclosures of marital disharmony, and had his family
indoctrinated by the hate-filled, and worse yet, delusional thoughts of a
"reverend"? For 20 freakin' years??? A "man of god" who lives in the lap of
luxury at the expense of South Side Chicagoans?
Oh, wait, just a week after Obama said this:
"I can no more disown him than I can disown the black community. I can no
more disown him than I can my white grandmother"
He now says this:
“Had the reverend not retired, and had he not acknowledged that what he had
said had deeply offended people and were inappropriate and
mischaracterized what I believe is the greatness of this country, for all its
flaws, then I wouldn’t have felt comfortable staying at the church,” Obama
said Thursday during a taping of the ABC talk show, “The View.” The interview
will be broadcast Friday.
I was in Chicago at a Father/Daughter dance at the Standard Club. The
gentleman who invited me said that a Hyde Park liberal told him he didn't
think either Obama nor Clinton would carry a dozen states in the general. I
scoffed in disbelief.
Not any longer.... heck, if this keeps going, Americans wouldn't buy an ice
cream cone from either one..
