Everybody advises "go out and mingle, socialize, attend parties--and you will eventually find it."
I did just that and actually met a buncha stoners at a college party. As a matter of fact, I found somebody who actually had weed. I could smell him blazin away like there was no tomorrow (he was always going just out of view of the party to blaze with his buddies). So when I asked if he could hook me up, he said yeah, he could get mids for $30 / quarter. So I said I had cash and he said, "Well, I don't know if you're cool, and I can't take a chance..."
LOL so to make a long story short, I didn't score at all. But I was close enough to smell it. And, in my opinion $30/quarter is a damn good price, even if "mids" is the equivalent of that mild low potency Columbian stuff from back in the day. That's what the price was back in the 1980s, for Chrissakes. I woulda been willing to pay the bastard a finder's fee of $20 at that rate, lol.
But, everybody's in the grip of paranoia these daze, and I've been told before that I look like a cop. Maybe I was a cop after all in a previous life? Is my karma preventing me from scoring? At any rate I'm so frustrated, I'm on the verge of signing up at a gym and turning into a muscle head.
