I will need some time to decifer the pdf verbage but just a note.
You can grow using clones from the same plant under weak flourescents and an HPS and you will get better output and better bud from the HPS. Meaning, given the same plant, environment has the biggest effect on your crop. So whatever genetics you get, give it the best environment possible.
Now with that said, from experience I have found that the amount of THC is not necessarily the property that will determine the best effect. White Widow has an enourmous amount of THC comparably but for the life of me I cannot play (or convince myself that I can play) the guitar while on it. It has a "giddiness" effect that interfers with body functions. While I am higher than a kite on the WW and love it, there are many things I don't want to do when I am on it. Now with a sativa, preferably Super Silver Haze, the "stoneder" I get the better I can play (or at least think I can play) the guitar.
Then there is the tolerance you build up with some weed, especially indica types I think. But I find that a good sativa will get you high everyday the same way. Then again, I don't smoke a quarter or more everyday like I have seen some people do. 3 joints max would do me all day; but if I only had 3 joints, I could make it last a week.
A few years ago, when you could get seeds (and weed) in the mail, I tried a number if different kinds and when I found the brand I liked, I kept cloning. Super Silve Haze, my fav. Just a hint of "what was that?" out of the corner of my eye and always a smile on my face.
Lesson...if you find a seed in a good bag of weed, keep it. Oh, and there are people, smart people IMO on this board that bad mouth hermis, but I can tell you there ain't nothing like a bag of seed that don't put out nothing but females. And if you don't want seeds from a hermi, pluck off the balls as you check periodically. Although, one of the best WW highs was from male leaves, dark green and oh so smelly. I wish I hadn't killed it and kept it in the breeding stock.
So on the genetics side, you have to be smart enough to know when you have your hands on it, then to keep it through either cloning or seeds.
Good luck.
