Heres 3 Mazar girls harvested fron several yrs ago. They were only about 30" tall when cut, but we used the pinch and bend, or supercropping method to get more and bigger branch buds. All the side branches grew into a main cola after we got the stem horizontal You can see we did not prune the main top colas either and they turned out pretty good.
This is a method that works well for the small gardner. The biggest advantage beyond the extra bud at harvest is that just when the girls are going into the stretch phase and hitting the light, you bend them over and eliminate the overheating issue, along with providing good light to the lower branches/buds all along the entire length of the stem.
