(Info) March 04, 2008 13:38:27 ET In Reply to: Re: More Q's - appreciate the help posted by cool beans (Info) March 04, 2008 12:21:54 ET words of wisdom there beans...but, i don't see how a ppm meter would be of much use in a soil grow. ph tester, definite must-have as tap water in my area is extremely hard and cannabis does not do well at all (leaves turn brown and crispy before falling off) unless the water is treated 1st (i use a britta filter and it brings it down from an off-the-scale 9.5++ to a near-perfect 6.0)...espeically important for indoor grows. they seem to handle it better outdoors when planted directly into the ground...which has been mixed with about half-n-half potting soil from the indoor grows.
