hey man, firstly dont get miracle grow soil get normal compost and add some Perlite (looks like white broken polystrene balls but hard) you can get it from any garden centre. then get some rose fertalizer as a cheap alternative to propper stuff.
seeds: any outdoor strain will give you good results but if you season is excellent get some seeds that mostly indica with a thc rating 15% plus. will shown you if you havent got a clue..
now when you grow you kill the males you only grow females. yes you can make harsh from males but the pollen gets into it and spoils it ,and if theres a wind blowing male to female you plant will be ruined and covered in seeds.
kill the males and make harsh from the leaves from the females.
if you get 10 seeds and they all germinate expect to get about 4 females this doesnt sound alot but outdoor plants can yeild a shit load so no worries (shit load = up to 1.5kg) expect to get around 200 - 500 grams (7 -18 oz)per plant
no male make brownies from hash-bud there better.
if i were you and you want big plants (big yeild) get big pots straight away and save the money. this will give the plants faster growth.
