Well several things here: First yes you can speed a harvest. I've read about it in other cultivation articals ... in fact Goerge Hervantes ( name prop. spelled wrong ) wrote about it in ( The Indoor Mari. Bible )Not exact but it goes something like this.
From my understanding of it as long as the plants have 11 hour off cycles no less you can change the hours to like 10/11 or even to like 8/11 I belive. After this reducing the light will severly stunt growth.....
However this is only to be used as a last resort to speed crops along, say if you have to move or have only 3 weeks to finish before your land lord comes to review you rental but you need 5 weeks of flowering time... 10/11 will give you around the same amount of cycles... within the shorter time frame.
( Hox Box Timer ) .... UM ..... the only Hox Box that comes to mind is the line of vaporizers.
In retrospect : If all expert growers swear buy the ( veg 18/6 ) and ( flowering 12/12 ) it's more than likly the way to grow. As i'm sure someone somewhere has tryed just about EVERYTHING, and if it really worked with all the ppl in here we would know.
P.S. If anyone like ( Geroge, Sanclem and others with that kind of exp. ) EVER find a way to speed up cycles that fast as to cut 1/3 of the flowering time down..... POST IT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, I AND EVERYONE ELSE WOULD LOVE TO KNOW.
