anyone know this joke?

american P s y c h O Registered on Mar-04-2002 More User Info Message #292799 posted by american P s y c h O (Info) May 13, 2008 02:03:42 ET not trying to really sell the joke here, just hoping someone recognizes it and can point me to the comedian or the actual joke. i think i saw the guy doing standup on tv, so it might be a "nobody" but it went something like: my friend kept telling me "oh you gotta go to this restaurant and try the bread. they have the best bread. you gotta eat there and get their bread!" so i went there and ordered the bread. it came with sauce and cheese on it. bread with sauce on it and melted cheese - that's a fucking pizza! of course the bread is good, the bread is pizza. that's like eating a bowl of chocolate pudding and saying "oh god this salad is so delicious" i duno.. something like that. for some reason things keep reminding me of it, and i just want to see it again to hear how it actually went, cuz im sure i butchered the hell out of it

I listened to him before. I watched George Carlin's new act, "It's Bad For Ya," a 90 min. standup routine. Really good...the old man still has it. And he really looks old, too. But he may have a couple more shows in him yet. **** Recommended. I may have to watch it again blazin.

I like george carlin, he's a bright guy with really great material.. but i can't really listen to him for too long. something about his voice and all just turns me off.

Rest in Peace.
