when you plant them ouside they must be about 8 inches tall then they will be
fine you wont have to do much nature will take its course... just have a phisical
boundary around the "area" like a wire fence / sticks interveaved / string etc

where your gona plant them dig up ther ground first turn over the
top soil ... hopefully the soil your gona plant in fertile enough to take care of
your plants whole cycle if not then you'll know when they dont grow fast then
you can introduce some fertalizer the the spot ...but thats later

peace

Right well, anyway...

You don't need to treat your plants with anything, pick a spot that gets a little more sun than shade and has soil that is rich, IOW dark black, ought to crumble easily when you scoop some up and work it around in your hand. It should also be moist, it will only be black if it's moist anyhow. If you choose good soil and a good location then you will not need to do anything to the plants to harvest good bud other than water when in drout conditions. Additional ferts can help, but I must recommend natural if you do decide to fert them, ie. Worm castings, guano, your own urine, cow manure. If you do decide to go the urine method (an excellent, natural, and cost effective fert method) then I recommend diluting it 1 part urine to 9 parts water.

Well that's all for now, is this your first time growing?

Good Luck.

Citrus
