a safe way to rid them using a spray bottle is fill it up with regular water and add a couple drops of dish soap. spray liberally on both sides of the leaves paying particular attention to the undersides, where they hide during daylight hours. repeat every 3 days for 2 weeks. the soap film will coat their bodies and smother them but will not affect the eggs so apply it every 3 days. it's best to not spray during the heat of the day but rather as close to sunset as possible... another safe method to control them is use your tube-type vacumn cleaner (or one with a hose attachement). hold a couple fingers over the nozzle to act like a screen so your leaves don't get sucked up and gently move nozzle around sucking up the critters and all the webbing. this will not affect the eggs and also must be done every 3 days to keep up with their hatching cycle. after a couple applications of either method you should see results...but don't stop there or they will come back. use a different spot next planting as far away as possible from your current grow. also thoroughly wash your clothes after being around contaminated plants or you'll act as their transport to new feeding grounds...
