Let see,, in a 74x44 space using 3 gal.pots you could get at least 12 plants going using a 400x light.Your problem is going to be head room. After subtracting the space for the light you will need to Top and pinch plants into a low dense growth or they will overfill the area and shoot straight up.If so, you may find it necessary to tie them over.-SMOKEJAGUAR

If you can get around to service your plants and they have enough space for horizontal growth and some vertical space your OK.The idea being to train the plants to fill in and become a dense/shorter plants.C. Indica is by nature the easiest to accomplish this.Sativas will by nature shoot up rapidly.By pinching the Top Cola and the new growth at the tips of the branches( and to some extent the buds on the branches), you force a redistribution of the growth hormones that make the typical conical shape. Each time you pinch you will at least double the bud sites and or branches. This forces the growth into a bushier shape with much more potential.More buds/colas depending on the growth intensity.Much of which is genetic.Just remember,,start early and dont get impatient,,each time you pinch there will be a decrease in the over all growth as the plant readjusts to the "damage" and expanded growth at the sites. Thus taking away from any unnecessary stretching of branches or the main stem.Another method is the training by tying the main stem over horizontally thereby forcing side branches to think they are main stems. This can be as effective as pinching to alter growth pattern. You just have to wait until plant developes enough branches, and this means the plant has to grow some heighth before tying down. You are however saved the shock of cutting the Top of the main stem as it will bend upward and become one of the many.Good luck.-SMOKEJAGUAR
