Hey, fellow growers..I just had a question about light movers.I do know some of the advantages, like being able to have your light closer due to the intermittant exposure, and of the course the lower electric bill which I am strongly in favor of..{ BTW...Mr Werner, I would love to have your imput as I realize your a very smart guy and know your shit..didn't mean to be a wise ass about not answering my ques. on trimming young plants' leaves like your would clones}...are there any real draw backs to using one.. any input would be greatly appreciated..may your gardens be green and full...BH

its warner lol : ) no its ok ,i try to answer as many as i can, sorry if i missed
one : ( ...errmm light movers
yer nice ... they come as standard to 180cm you can cut them down if you
really need to , there cheap , they dont fuck up, they save electricity : ) yey ,

the normal situation with light movers is i got a long space where i would
normally use 2 lights probally 2 x 400 and up...instead i'll either use 1 x 400
or a 600... the really best thing is that it strengthens plants coz they move
back and forwards following the light , all sides of the plant gets light so you
get more bud from side shoots ...yer man im for them if you havent guessed
lol

thnx for saying i no my shit : )
peace

I'm up in the air on these things, hate to post in the contrary to ya Mr. Warner :p
My thing is there is a drawback to the light rail... loss in yield!
My stance has always been that if there is enough room for a rail, there is enough room for a second light, and If I'm growing pot it's because I don't want to buy it... so I need alot.
They are nifty though, and well made with the intellidrive and all that junk. The good ones are pricey.
Almost forgot, one more drawback... what do you do if the mover malfunctions? Then you've got half the garden if not more suffering, and you are now the official light mover :p

yer i know where your coming from ..dont feel bad . personally i dont use
them because i dont care about the electricity bill i would rather stick another
light in but for people who have the problem of electricy bills there are
excellent things

ie if you have a space that means you can have 2 600 watt lights but you
think about using one light and a light mover i would get 1 x 1000watter and
a rail so the amount produced is the same due to the lack of light but with
increased light (wattage)lmao and still save your self 200 watts

or if you have a house full of plants and your using 20 600 watt lights and
you have a electricity bill that is like the size of the statue of liberty then you
decide to use rails the electricty will pritty much half ...thats alot of power
gained ! it all build up .. the loss of product doesnt always happen anyway

if the light rail fails ...they dont lol... but if they do yo will know as
everyperson who grows weed checks their garden at least once every 2
days ... outdoor plants in the summer that yeild 1 kg have the problem of
clowds but they dont seem to screw up .... most light movers have a
manufactures warranty so you will never be the light mover .... anyway the
space for a 400 is 1m squared so double it 1m x2m the space for a 600 is 1.5
meters but you can push them to 2m so even if the light fails the light will be
suficiant enough to flower the crop !

i would never say :if you have a space worth for 2 400s i would never say use
1 400 and a light mover it would always be a 600 !and save 200watts it says
in my post that i would either use a 400 or a 600 for a double space for 400
but thats because i no they are good and i can grow with a 400 but im an
experienced grower and can do most things : )......

have you every used one?

peace
