Any luck with OTT-LITE fluorescent tubes?

It says they are for growing plants indoors, and they give off what looks like a blue light. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with these types of tubes. I was also wondering if i could hang one light over the top and one on the side so that it is perpindicular to the overhead light. Thanks for any help
