yer any 125watt are better as there more intense but they wont run off a normal socket if you think a bayonet cap is normal??? all growing cfls 125watt and above use the E40 standard socket thease can be found in any online hydro shop or your local hydro shop and there cheap and easy to wire up ,,, no balast required ...it ends up looking like a hps but with a massive cfl bulb (there big lol) and no ballst the socket is wired to normal mains cable and the a normal plug which fits in a household socket ..... just so you know when you build the reflector make it longer than you would for a HPS make it like 40 cm long or wait for the bulb to arrive first! i was amazed the first time i got one i thought they were like 20 cm max.... double it lmao ,there huge
btw you need to be sure it is a self ballast cfl !!!! most are
smaller 30 - 40 watt bulbs are better for cloning ( propagatopr light )
the big 125watt and 150watt and 200watt CFLs come in red (2700k) and blue (6400k) and sometimes purple (25000k)(100% PUR) no light loss excellent for veg
