if you have 7 dwc buckets :
1 mum
3 in veg
3 in flowering
when the flowering ones finish chop them and move the new 3 veg ones in ,then cut 3 clones off your mum and root then veg in the old 3 flowering buckets ...etc, that means when you flower every time they will be 3-4ft : ),then you can still abuse the system legally : )
you'll get a harvest of 3 x 4 footers every 8 weeks : )and if you chose a large yeilding strain like big bud or wonder woman you'll get 5-8 oz per plant !
DWC is very simple and very effective , 4 main things make up a system
bucket/container
air pump
air stone/air line
net pot and grow medium
if you get a cheaper air pump and stone it will make the difference between a fast plant and a shite plant lol
dont get a pump smaller than 150Lt/Air/hour per bucket .... and a 300Ltr pump uses 5 watts of power so lots of pumps arnt expensive to run .THE AIR PUMP HAS TO BE ON 24/7 ... ALL THE TIME or the roots will rot!
if you have a 8 week strain ,it will still flower in 8weeks its just because the infusion of air speeds up the plant flowering process ... so the result is it just flowers more (bigger yeild) .......
Mums also grow very well in DWC because like in flowering the growing in veg speed up, so creating new sprouts that turn into your clones are quicker producing ..and recovering after they are lopped off .
and the more roots thing just means you get more yeild too (in the end)
fertalizer is the same as any hydro system, a few things are needed:
abviously the DWC systems lol (no system timers needed)
the ferts..veg and flowering and superbloom (your choice)
superthrive (build roots fast)
clonex(rooting hormone gel)e center medium)
grow medium (sometimes comes with system)
rockwool blocks (for rooting clones and seeds and using as the center medium)
ph down (to lower the ph level in the system)
ph up (you can guess) .... not really needed
and you ph and ec meters
