Need some expert advice from me.. Timmy boy Nashly

Tim Nashly Registered on Aug-04-2005 More User Info Message #21312 posted by Tim Nashly (Info) April 12, 2006 16:31:58 ET right this is the thing , i some times harvest seeds instead of bud for a future stock like most growers do ,i do this buy crossing a true female with a hermie of the same strain to get ferminized seeds.... i actually stress a female to make it half male ..on purpose... i have come accross a strain of super silver haze that will not wot ever you do be stressed, this is a problem as i only have 2 seeds and 2 young plants left .do any of the expericed growers have any solutions to this i have plenty of time but still need an answer ... its really pissing me off , its a beutiful strain very high yeilding and fast growing ... someone please help i no some growers dont like to stress plants and think when you cross a hermie with a true female the end result is only 75% female but i have never had any problems in the past ... thank you for your imput peace

There maybe other ways to "Hermie it," I think Soma wrote the idea of overFLOWRERINg them,,,and making them hermaphidite. just leaveing them in flower for an extended time,well past normal. I forget what he called it,but he assures it works. As for me,I wouldnt reccomend hermaphiditing any plants for pollen,it can screw up your results in the long run. You will be working with hermaphidite pollen,and in the long run,, it can screw ya blue. "just saying." You may also want to look into other ways of "hermaphiditing," as well. Peace, K@
