I am a first time grower and can only hang the buds for a day at most(parents). The Paper bag method allows me to be discrete and obtain good drying temperatures (55- 60% humidity, and room temp) I need to know whether or not to close the bags(mold?), and secondly whether i stack the buds in multiple layers or just one. (i understand the importance of rotation and even drying)harvest time is coming soon and any tips or advice would be much appreciated.

you can loosely stack them in the bag. but dont fill the bag up about 1/3 full. leave it open for first day, shake them up a bit, next day after a little shaking roll the bag over a cpl of times. next day open the bag, shake it up & leave it open for 15-20 minutes, then fold it over a little tighter than the day before. repeat this process until the smallest stems start to snap, then shove them into jars or airtight containers. @ this stage open once a day or less in a dry enviroment, shake things up, then reseal. the trick is to not let them dry too fast to be harsh or too slow to mold. locking them in jars with a little moisture left in the buds has proven to me too be the tastiest. r
