topshelf Registered on Dec-19-2006 More User Info Message #8383 posted by topshelf (Info) February 08, 2007 05:07:31 ET hi all. i hope this isnt too dumb of a question. i see the standard "im growing 3 plants how much bud will i get" questions without specs on setup, pics or anything else that might help a guess. so here goes. these ladies are in their 10th week, 2nd of 12/12. they are bag seed, in soil under a 250w hps. 1 plant has been pruned and is kinda bushy and the other 2 were not topped but i have been bending them to get more out of my space.anyway, any guess would be appreciated this is my first serious attempt and im just curious

WHAT STRAIN IS IT lol............................... the harvest will depend on how many weeks it flowers , if its indica or sativa ,outside or inside plant , know for massive harvests (ie big bud) 2) what fertalizer are you using is it miricle grow "lol" or a proper hydroponic/ marijuana fert? 3) what fans are you using is there enough air flow or is it really hot in there ? and check the temp with a normal thermometer .... we need the strain name ....if its unknown as in you grow it coz you found it in some weed you bought it could be anything but normally white widow ,ak47 or big bud unknown strain ...... 300 gpms ( grams per meter squared ) so about 30 grams per plant (an 0zz) 3 plants = 3 ozz with shit ferts .......150/200 gpms so about 15.20 grams per plant 3 plants = 1.5/2 ozz if its a really good strain that you know the harvest could be anything up to 600 gpms so like 2 ozz per plant so like 6 ozz all togther ! answer thease and we will get back peace : )

topshelf Registered on Dec-19-2006 More User Info Message #8385 posted by topshelf (Info) February 09, 2007 03:30:04 ET In Reply to: Re: harvest. the magic word posted by george j warner (Info) February 08, 2007 12:31:05 ET thats the thing. all three are from bag seeds that i can promise you werent anything special.i dont smoke great stuff therefor the seeds are probably not the greatest either. i watch the temp daily, keep it at 77 ish. the air circulation isnt great but it isnt stagnant. no fans in the room (closet) but 1 outside. i use "b'cuzz" ferts which were recommended by my local hydroponics store for soil growing. the gpms, can you eleaborate? is that grow room size or rough size of plant. also what should i expect from the topped plant? does that affect yield or just size?ie- will i end up with the same amount, just in smaller buds?

george j warner Registered on Sep-02-2006 More User Info Message #8386 posted by george j warner (Info) February 09, 2007 04:46:10 ET In Reply to: Re: harvest. the magic word posted by topshelf (Info) February 09, 2007 03:30:04 ET ok gpms is a standard saying when dealing with estimated yeild , you are MEANT to give 1 plant 1 squarer foot so around 9/10 plants per meter squared so if the strain says it yeild 300 grams per meter squared it really says 300 grams every 9/10 plants so divide 300 by 10 = 30 grams per plant estimated you need some fans in there the co2 will need to be replenished every 3 minutes even a couple of computer 12v fans/ desk fan will work just get the air moving around they will yeild more!!!!! when you top a plant it seperates the main stem into more managable smaller parts ...some people think you get more yeild from more branches but what you actually get is the same amount of weed on a larger area so you'll get lots of little buds instead of a massive dominant center bud temp and ferts sound ok . if i were you instead of having good equipment and shit smoke ...get some good seeds from www.seedboutique.com get get some quality smoke back from it ... its a safe web site for ordering to the usa : ) http://seedboutique.com/sindex.php peace
