George ,in other post you;ve said that after youve dried and cured your buds you sqeezze or wrap them in plastic wrap. Why?

because it works ... better than jars

long ago when i was growing in small places, just for 1 100 gram harvest i would collect loads of jam jars... filling up cupboards space i would harvest dry it (without pressure)
and cure in glass jars . even if i cured the buds for 2 months they wouldnt smell or look like the buds you buy ...which are not concidered as "home grown" .

comercial bud imported to the country some somewhere else is always the dogs bollox of bud compared to your local grower? why? not because of the strain or the set up but because of the drying and curing process

the stuff that comes in, is buy the ton ! a ton of pressure in individual kilo bails (wrapped up tight)will sit in the same space for a few months.

do you really think comercial growers use jam jars?

they use bin liners !!!! plastic sweats so curing is not advised ...but if you have a kilo harvest or even half(and thats a lot of drying bud !!) jam jars are out of the question ....

the way to do it is like this ...dry your bud past the point where you would stop and cure then put all the buds into a bin liner(black) and wrap up tight (this is the same when importers wrap bud into kilo bails) . then wrap the buds up even tighter lots and lots of pressure !!!! no air !!

now tape up the ball with kitchen film (sandwhich wrap) then tape over with duct tape so it can not un-compress . i even stand on the ball before the kitchen film goes on (SUPER TIGHT)

put it in a cupboard for 1 to 2 months...longer is always better (the import has been cured for like 6 months)

the bud will be amazing when you open it up

I FOUND THIS OUT BY A COMPLETE FLUKE AND PIECED IT TOGETHER AFTER WARDS :D

when i did it the first time my mates thought i was destroying the buds lol... but they soon changed there mind when they saw the end result lol .... the smell is PERFECT
the look is PERFECT .... the taste is PERFECT ....

I have got to and pass the amazingness of the comercial bud now and i only grow under 400 watters!

when i was growing at the beginning i could only sell/smoke it to/with my mates because the buds looked home grown ...but if there was a import my mates perfered that instead ... so did i lol ...far better

now my friends prefer mine to the imported stuff not because i have been educated in the art of growing but by the why i cure ..i have only been pressure curing for 4 harvests now (2 years)

i have even passed off under manicured outdoor crappy weed as comercial import !!!
you know that perfect smell from good imported skunk. that perfect clean skunk smell ....thats what pressure cured bud smells like : )

pressure curing is the future

Wow that sounds pretty cool. how about a food vacuum system to suck all the air plus compress the weed all in one shot

thats sounds good and at the time i did think of using my hoover but i didnt want to suck any buds up .. my way is a sure way of not loosing anything :)
