With a couple of weeks of new knowledge under my belt, I'm answering my own question. Firstly, you'll only have to use a "wetting agent" the first time or two that you water new soil, that's when it is most resistant to water penetration. Secondly, use a few drops of gentle shampoo per gallon of water and the water will flow down much easier. I recommend JOHNSONS BABY SHAMPOO. Stay away from strong super grease cutter dishwashing soaps. Hope that helps. Yes it does, thank you.
