i've just started my 2nd grow and last time i vegged on 18\6 but after reading in several books about 24hr light about the apparent no negative effect statement i have had them under 24hrs light for 5 days. i just want an experienced view on this. also i'm restricted for height in my new location so any advice will be gladly received! cheers! stay up!

weed doesn't need a dark period for veg ... some grow in veg 18/6 some do 24/0 i have tryed both ... i veg now at 18/6 to save on the electricity bill , there isnt that much difference

cheers mate! could you tell me when bending (not pinch and bend) when is it best to do it? also, i'm growing under 400w would my plants benefit from a 125w envirolight too or would this be overkill?

no 400 is fine man and envirolight wouldnt do shit you can bend at any time pass about 4 inches ... just train the plant into a curve string it down it will always go towards the light.. even bend a bit of wire around then hold the plant under it then reduce the height over time you can get a plant to grow practically sideways

Agree with you about the training George. I had a friend who used to grow horizontally, in a metal locker under his bed! PLant at one end light/fan at the other and he trained it to grow 4" from the ground all the way along towards the light! Amazing to see it done that way. Its the only 'under the bed' grow I have seen though. Wish I still had the pictures he took.
