A friend is growing a Dutch Passion Feminized MAZAR. This is the first time he did not have a single yellow leaf through this third week of flower, not one! An all-green plant. A pleasure to behold. Here are some of his secrets: 1. Don't add lime to your soil. A BACTO or SCOTTS is already balanced to be perfect! Don't mess with it. You don't even need perlite or vermiculite! 2. Once the plant is thriving, it will need MIRACLE GRO using the outdoor mix: 1 TABLESPOON/GALLON every time you water!!! Same for JACKS CACTUS BLOSSOM BOOSTER during flowering. 3. The tops of your plants better be getting 4,000 - 5,000 footcandles of light for a good grow. 4. The room temp should be 77 or 78 when the lights are on. This is perfection for the plant. 5. Let the pot dry out between waterings. Lift them to see how much water is left in the soil. Use BIG pots for big roots and big harvests. 6. Top once and then bend your branches to get the number of leads you need. My friend has 9 lead branches. 7. Buy meters. A PH meter, a light meter, a moisture meter, a fertilizer meter. The best news is that my friend is smoking some of the buds from the bottom though it's only three weeks into flowering and they give a pretty darn good high. Hope that helps somebody.
