My plants have been revegging for about 5 weeks now. They are short (about 1-2 feet tall) and bushy. From reading stuff on this site, I think they should veg about 9 weeks before I start flowering which would bring me into the first week of May. Because I'm taking vacation in during the end of May, and I don't want to leave them in the basement under lights while my housesitter is here, I'm going to put them outside in their pots. This means their total vegging period would be more like 13 weeks. I plan on bringing them back in on my return and start flowering then. Do you think this would have an adverse affect on them by being outside and then brought back in?

nah, they'll be fine. the only real problem period will be when they're 1st put out under the sun as the sun can burn the leaves until the plants are used to it. when i transfer indoors to out i start them in a shady spot then over a week's time they get gradually moved into full sunlight. and with the days still somewhat short they should do very well if they're put into flower immediately after you return home...

Thanks for your input. I'm not too worried about leaf burn because I can't just leave them out in a sunny spot. I sorta have to hide them behind bushes and plants. They'll get sun, but only direct sun for about 3 hours late morning and early afternoon.

Will they need water during that time? They will be a lot bigger by the end of May, and depending on your container size and the weather outside they could need water every day.

Hey GH...it sounds like youre enjoying this hobby. Got some new gear, and seeing some results for the effort. Good luck down the line.
