Well he was suppose to start on Monday 4/21/08 he went in Friday before to take the test. He used the sub method with a friend of ours who is straighter than an arrow. Well he had this thing in his head that my dad told him to keep the temp up use your own pee and put it in the cup then dump it out. Well he did that and put in donor pee. He popped positive! Now I didnt know you could from just a little bit of dirty pee but whatever we are 100% positive this person was clean (until this happened) - but shit happens. Well the temp agency is giving him the benefit of the doubt and having him come in Friday. We are using my best friends pee I KNOW SHE IS CLEAN 110%. We decided to use a female cuz none of our male friends not smoke (except the one used previously) And do to the fact I found this site and N2 rocks with his information!!(damn I think I need some straight friends just in case) Anywho to my questions. 1. My friend is on birth control - would that have any effect on the test?? 2. I heard somewhere that exedrin can bring a false positive is that true - she takes one daily. 3. She is on a lot of vitiamins....fish oil, b2 or something. But that is it she has been a straight shooter for 4+ years If worse comes to worse I could use my 8 year old daughters pee (man that makes me feel like a horrible parent :-( But my daughter take the allergy pill singular on a daily basis could that screw up the urinalyis. I want to know about hers too cuz a few months ago my boss told me that he needed me to go in for a preemployement physical where they drug test (yea I was hired in Jan) still hasnt made me go I just want to make sure I have a back up incase something happens and he makes me go. The only thing you have to do is keep it at body temp and it comes with a temp strip and heating pad..... I wouldnt risk using your female friends urine, even though they do not test for gender..but you ARE CORRECT about the exedrin, it can definately produce a false positive i wouldnt take that chance

Thanks for the post. We went with a female cuz there are people on here who have done it in the past and it was cool - they dont test for sex. Well they ended up calling him in early - and we meet my bf for her pee and he passed. WOOHOO Just a little worried (felt like I was gonna puke TMI) Well just wanted to say again LOVE this site. Will frequent often.

Yes, certain OTC meds can give a false positive on the cheap assay screens, but when the lab sends screen positives to the GC/MS for confirmation, the GC/MS would tell the difference between OTC meds and the illicit substances. BTW, theres no problem in harvesting urine from a child to pass a U/A. After all, children ARE the beneficiaries to a parents getting/keeping a job, or even staying out of jail.
