I used to get some pretty good bud in Florida , nothing but shitty brown in Illinois and even shittier hash in China. Nothing beats the insane bud I can get out here in Cali though. Sure, lots of folks might have a friend with some kind homegrown in any state but for getting sweet green buds on a regular basis California is the top. Prices are higher here but you get what you pay for.

I am from Puerto Rico and I could say on behalf of this little island that we are top class in the Americas. We posses optimal conditions for growing (we have been growing hybrids outdoors for years now and they have finished with excellent quality smoke)considering constant light, an optimal amount of rain and about the richest soils in the world, specifically in the central mountains of the Island where the coffe beans that popes drink/drank (have to revise if it still continues to be their coffee of choice but it was for more than half a century one of their top choices)are produced. This year I had the opportunity to visit several caribbean islands and I found out to my surprise that weather conditions are not even remotely close between Puerto Rico and other islands (believe it or not but the temp in some towns of the central mountains drops as low as the forties a couple of times in "our winter" time), having said that I do not claim that we have the best cannabis in the world but i do disagree with those that say that there is nothing amazing to find in the caribbean. Puerto Rico is at the least in a league of their own in producing great natural herb with quality genetics Outdoors. I admit that we are beaten indoors, but outdoors I think it is as good as it gets and I also believe that our valleys and mountains are much much fertile than most territories discussed here. The thing here is that you must know people in order to find that kind of weed. Take for example this year alone I have been able to consume from over twenty different strains including top end like the sour diesel varieties and the great classics such as C 99, white strains, blue strains, Mr. nice's whole catalog and the best commercial weed you can find. There is no dirt weed here except in less than a handfull of ghettos and even in those you can find what they call "Creepy", basically any strain potent enough to cause a creeper strain but since they do not know neither care about genetics in the hood (its just about selling anything in those places and there are high risks like cops which are notoriously abusive here)they keep it basic when they sell...in the ghettos you either get creepy (no quality assurance)or great commercial that's far better than brick weed. Just wanted to let you guys know there are good strains available here the thing is the prices...really unreasonable prices. An ounce of great quality creeper strains run for about 400 to 500 dollars, anything more than that is a rip off down here, but still pretty much expensive (used to pay 60 dollars an eight). Top 5 that I have smoked here is: 1) Strawberry Cough 2) Diesel varities 3) Black Domina 4) one variety of white widow that just blew me away 5) Shiskaberry x Hash Plant I am planning a trip to Spain and Europe with my girlfrienf hoping to make a pit stop in Amsterdam to see what they hava got but I definately agree that the crown to best cannabis in the world is either in the hans of canada or Cali (smoked the O.G. Kush and felt its narcotic experience). Another friend here who supports the movement and the legalization. Another side note: Weed is so popular here that i am willing to say that if it was not due to our current political status (U.S. territory) we would have legalized it long ago.

BEST BUD I'VE EVER TOKED. I got holds on some other best stuff I ever had while livng there but nothing beats the above. Now on to Oceanside where I also lived and is also where I was offered a qp of mids for 300. While living there I was getting o's of some yellowish indica from my steady connect for 300 and it was pretty dank but I had better stuff in Illinois which is where I'm originally from. The funny thing is mex and mids are rare in Cali and run expensive like 100 dollars an o of shitiy o shitie dirt schwagg because of the quanity compared to buying half o's of dank for 140 and so on but I rather pay the extra 40 for buds thats a heck of a lot better and will last a little longer. The dank I was getting in Oceanside would usually have seeds in about a quarter of it or so then be completely seedless from then on. Kinda weird but whatever. Santa Barbara was sensi. Most of the dank I've gotten here in Farmer State IL was sensi too. On a pit stop in Flagstaff Arizona which I knew nothing about I spent a day trying to find dank before I moved on to New Mexico because it was the biggest town (I'm pretty sure) in between. I skated at their skatepark for almost the whole day and kept asking people (yeah I was desperate just ran out about 2 hours before hitting Flagstaff) and people kept saying that could get me mex but I kept saying thanks anyways and kept asking. Finally met this pretty cool dude that had a hookup and bought a half of some pretty good dank. Nothing special. Fat bud sensi with thick orange hairs and lots of crystals. Lasted all the way back to Illinois. 220 for the half. By the way anyone ever been to Gallup New Mexico? The majority of race is Mexican and Native American and they all seemed to hate me. Cars were going by yelling shit at me flipping me off when I was skating this cool drainage ditch that was kinda like a half that was huge and had horrible graffiti all over it done by toys that have no business holding a can. Glad I didn't get my buds there. Everyone seemed so shady and I probably would have got ripped off. And by the way the if it was gang territory I didn't see anything that had to do with gangs horribly bombed and seemingly scrawled onto the walls. So yeah I've just drawn the conclusion that almost everyone there sucks. Greenville Tennessee. Not going to go on about it too much. If you're looking for pills or smack or meth yeah thats your place but buds. Its complete balls. Don't get me wrong there are times I pop some viko or klonopins but thats about it.
