China's barbaric response to free speech

http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5h5Z6bJwtN_roGSIUQiQnfbf2NkhgD90BT1VO0

but then the U.S. isn't much better when it comes to people caught up in the cannabis trade... the U.S. has more people behind bars than China. Also, China hasn't invaded a country recently. Also, since the Republicans gained the White House, the U.S. now tortures prisoners. So probably it is fair to say that under the Bush administration, the U.S. is the moral equivalent of China.

i don't know about that...china is still occupying tibet, and it has mobile execution vans, and it holds the record for most people executed by the state in the entire world by a multitude of factors...at least the usa pretends that iraq and afghanistan are independent, and might even give them independence someday...china doesn't bother with such niceties

but their peking duck is soooooo tasty

other countries eventually gave up their illegal territorial claims since the end of WWII...indonesia's claim on east timor is the only one i can think of at the moment, but i know there were several others...i can't see how china will release tibet, or israel will release east jeruselem(sp?) and the pali territories, but the legal world will never recognize their claims

WELL I would not compare us with China....although I am certainly with you on archaic laws here in America....and how we allow little girls to be victimized by religious leaders.

But China kills 10,000 baby girls a year to control population and boy babies are more wanted and valuble there.....but what goes round comes round as now they have a severe women shortage...DUH!!!!DO THE MATH GUYS!

OUR GOVENOR is currently evaluating records of the people on death row.....so he can execute some... He may be our next VP as Jeb is working for a medical company in Dallas.....makin' the big bucks....and says he has not interest in being pres OR VP!.....Watch for his son and lawyer Geaorge Prescott on the Repubs future scope!
