Hemp Butter All purpose?

Could you just make the Hemp Butter and toss it into anything you want? Cause I was wondering if anyone has tried this, Tossing it into some Tea, Coffee, Brownie Mix, Cookie Mix, Stuff like that? and what good has come of it, also wondering, someone said they put it on some Toast and it didnt do much, would this be because he didnt make the butter right? or because the THC didnt react because there wasnt enough heat? just wondering cause the butter sounds pretty easy to make and multi purpose. Thanks!
