ok, hypotetical situation,

lets supose you have two strains of herbs, one called purple, and then you have one called PP.

the dsifrence in price is about 100%, do you think that PP is worth twice the purple?

peace,Wirikuta

I do. But let me give you a different hypothetical situation:

Suppose you can only smoke 1000 times in your life, and you have a choice of PP or purple, with PP being a little bit better than purple.

Which would you smoke?

well, what if the purple was those big honking ganja spliffs but the pp was little pinners like I roll?

there are just too many variables.

what makes anything worth more or less money, and what makes these things worth the amount of difference? I frequently say about wine that a $20 bottle is usually at least a little better than a $3.29 bottle of Charles Shaw. Now i really am someone who loves food and drink, but what makes a bottle of wine better is who I share it with, and what makes a dinner more enjoyable is my table mates. But being in marketing, i usually see the crap being foisted on me in ad and packaging before I ever see the product, so it may just be my negative reaction to that.

So whichever one I had, i'd want to, you know, smoke it with shootist or some other good friend and have an enjoyable time of it, and whether it was one or the other, it would be better that way.

Too true ... but I haven't smoked with anyone for maybe 7 years. I'm sort of used to smoking on my own, like silent budsmoker out there....

But it would always be nice to share ...

well B - you may have mentioned but in what general part of the country are you located? If you are nearby there is always a possibility, and if not, there is always the occasional travel. I'm in the DC area btw.

Hey Infertile....love the DC area. I graduated from George Washington U many, many moons ago. I had a great time living in the Foggy Bottom section of town.

I don't see how you can answer that question without a carefully controlled double blind study.

Send me some of each and I'll tell ya ;)

I'm located in New England. But like many I prefer to stay on the dl. So getting together with someone would be a bad idea in practice.

(I'm a very straight guy, but when I wrote that above sentence, I imagined what it would be like to be a gay guy in the closet.)

As a dope smoker, I'm very much in the closet (as folks around here for a while know...).

Interesting question. For me, it depends on the quality of the less expensive smoke. AS long as it hits the right spot, I will opt for the less expensive.

Sometimes I have found I prefer the high of the less expensive, that is, there is equality between the 2.

I actually have had this happen recently.

This is why I am here after all. I can get all the mids I want by just going to my friends house whenever. He gets mids btw, mids is too kind a word. His stuff makes me jittery and in a down. That's because he also drinks so that's his deal.

My deal is I don;t take alchohol so I am looking for a quality MJ high, medicinal. something that helps me both spiritually and physically.

Take thought process for example. without the abitity to think and see things in a new way, i hate myself.
I love being able to change plans completely with anew perspective.

well B - each follows his own path, I'm sure there are many reasons. All by my lonesome is better than not at all, but there are some benefits the other way too. Sometimes I just meet folks just to meet them, without any expectations of a - umm - higher experience. But feeling you are out of your comfort zone in terms of risk is a big negative, in that case maybe go with the PP =P

Well I hypothetically preferred the Purple to the PP, hypothetically. Plus better value IMHO and I suppose factually speaking, see I just hypothetically smoked it and I'm spaced, metaphorically speaking.
