how I accidentaly fooled security in 4 airports

Wirikuta Premier Member Registered on Jun-08-2001 More User Info Message #174562 posted by Wirikuta (Info) April 30, 2008 12:11:34 ET I took some souvenirs back home from europe, among them was a tiny bottle of grapa my fiancé gave me for a german friend who lives here, the bottle was maybe 60 mililiters, very small indeed. I constantly was thinking of the little bottle and how I would make it through security, I decide I´d put it in plain sight and I´d let them take it if needed. as expected, in every check point the guy in the x-ray machine would say "this guy has a bottle of liquid" to another agent further on the line, to whom I´d show my bottle of liquor, after seeing the small quantity and smelling it they would let me go, with my little bottle. the thing is I had a big bottle of absynthe in my backpack, I had completly forgotten about it, just when I got home I realized that securiy saw my bottle every time, but every time I would produce a small bottle of grapa!!! peace, Wirikuta

Seems you've discovered a hole in the iron wall of airport security. I lost a gift bottle of champagne to the inspectors one time when I forgot I had it in my bag. If I'd had the time, I would have enjoyed it prior to take off, but alas, some security person probably enjoyed it on my behalf although they say it's against the rules. Puff

I was a litle worried when I found out, mainly because of said hole (made me feel a bit scared) and also I thouht that if they had seen the absynthe maybe they would have thought I was trying to pullsome $hit on them, that would have been trouble. peace, Wirikuta
